The WWTP will treat municipal wastewater from the area of Simantra and it will consist of the following treatment steps:
- Pretreatment
- Biological stage with a compact suspended solids system and membranes for biomass separation (Moving Bed Membrane Reactor)
- Disinfection
- Mechanical thickening and dewatering of the waste sludge
